The Information & Education division of California Family Health Council has developed and honed a unique and award-winning materials development process which results in effective patient education materials that truly speak to your client. Whether the goal is to inform, instruct or motivate, our commitment is to create materials that support you in helping people lead healthier lives.
Develop Effective Patient Education Materials
We can offer your agency reasonable, non-profit rates to assist you every step of the way:
- Assess your clients' needs! Finding out what your clients really need and want to know – and how they'd like to see it presented is the important first step.
- Writing clear, easy-to-read text is an art! And we're glad to share the years of our experience with you.
- We can design the material! We can help you make your educational material attractive and appealing, make suggestions for improving the layout and readability of the text. I&E will coordinate the entire process, from preliminary concepts to camera ready proofs.
- Translate the material! Take advantage of our team approach using a writer, a professional translator, and professional reviewers familiar with the cultural group as well as the content.
- Field tests make sure the material reflects that clients' needs! Ensure the material conveys the desired message to the intended audience.
- Print and distribute to your clients! It can be complicated to get your materials printed and distributed. You can have us coordinate the whole process.
